Founded in 1997 as the statewide Coalition for Workers’ Rights, Social Justice, and Economic Fairness, Kansas Action Network unites trade unionist with farmers, civil rights and independent living advocates; and organizers from the peace, justice and faith communities.

KAN’s mission is to educate, organize and mobilize on issues that will improve the working and living conditions for all men, women and children in Kansas.

In all, our constituent organizations number over 250,000 Kansans – in all, about 10% of the total Kansas population:
